Doune the Rabbit Hole: An Interview with Jill O’Sullivan of Sparrow and the Workshop

Sparrow and the Workshop are an indie rock three piece based in Glasgow, Scotland comprising Jill O’Sullivan (vocals, guitar), Nick Packer (bass) and Gregor Donaldson (drums, vocals).  After releasing a couple of great EPs they unleashed their stunning debut album Crystals Fall in 2010 via Distiller Records.  Hot on the heels of their debut came the 2011 release of their second album Spitting Daggers.  Critics duly frothed at the mouth. The band will soon be entering the studio to record their third album and later this month they will be playing the Doune the Rabbit Hole festival which is being staged near my hometown of Kilsyth within the grounds of a replica medieval fort.  I will be covering the festival first hand on behalf of What F**king Ian Guy? and fully intend to check out Sparrow and the Workshop live.  I just want to say thanks again to Jill for taking the time to do this interview.  It was a lot of fun to do and hopefully it’s a fun listen too.  To listen to the interview just click on the link below.
